Work experience
for young people is a critical issue in our community. The
Youth@Work campaign and web site is one way in which the
WDC of Seattle-King County has responded to this need. The WDC is happy to speak with the press and direct you to further information about youth employment and our partners and programs. We can also set up interviews with our staff, local employers or local youth. Contact Margret Graham at 206.448.0474, ext. 3029, or email mgraham@seakingwdc.org. The WDC's latest call to action on youth employment is Summer Employment: Key for Youth (May 2008). For a more comprehensive overview of youth employment issues in Seattle and King County, please see the WDC’s Youth@Work
Report (May 2005).
