There are tons of on line and free resources for people who aren’t sure what they want to do.  Or, maybe you have an idea, but don’t know how to find out more information.  When you think about people who get paid a lot of money have you ever wondered how they started?  Watch a short video of successful adults talking about their first jobs.

Find out about hiring events at local WorkSource centers.

www.dreamit-doit.org  This is one of the wildest sites around.  You can look at tons of stuff and be inspired to get that dream job you never knew existed.  You definitely want to check this site out!

http://getthatgig.com  This site lists amazing jobs in all industries, information on internships, and a real life examples of what it is like to be a graphic artist, physical therapy director, or Rolling Stone editor.

http://mapping-your-future.org/  This site is all inclusive.  It allows you to map your future and brings together the expertise of the industry to provide free college, career, financial aid, and financial literacy services.

http://www.bls.gov/k12/ This is a very cool site that let’s you click on your favorite subject like “sports” and then view all the jobs that are in your interest.  You’ll also find out how many people work in that job, the skills you need to go for getting your dream job, and how much money you can make!

www.careervoyages.gov If you like to watch movies this is the site for you.  You can easily view short video clips and access useful information on growing jobs in retail, manufacturing, IT, health care, science, construction and more!

www.healthopps.com helps with career planning and employment in the health care industry. 

www.groovejob.com  This site is designed specifically for seasonal, part time, and/or hourly jobs in your neighborhood.
